Internationalizing the Curriculum for Psychology of Women
For many years, courses on the Psychology of Women have been taught around the globe. Unfortunately many of the courses taught in the United States have given little attention to the psychology of women from a global perspective. This task force seeks to educate psychologists about critical global issues, theories, and intervention strategies for women. The education tools will consist of both a symposium at the American Psychological Association convention as well as an article, Special Section, or Special Issue focused on broadening the scope of the psychology of women curriculum to include the experiences of women globally.
